Razer - Krait 1600dpi 3Button Infrared Sensor Gaming Mouse USB

After hearing so many great reviews about the Razer Krait 1600dpi 3 Button Infrared Sensor Gaming Mouse I just had to take a look at it to see what all the fuss was about.

The retail packaging is almost the same as other Razer products used with the Velcro tab that is used to hold down a small flap that when opened up like a book cover reveals the Krait mouse inside.
When the Razer Krait is turned off it looks dead and cold but when turned on it seems to come to life as if a furnace is burning within its core, thanks to the orange leds that are positioned in certain places.

What I found confusing was the lack of buttons on this mouse, it only having three. Most high-end mousse tend to have much more buttons for hot-keys or similar functions, yet Razer have decided to leave the Krait with the bare essentials. This makes perfect sense when you actually use the mouse as your mind is free from trying to remember where each button is located on your mouse and the large main buttons make it easier to press.

Since this mouse was designed for real time strategy and MMOG gamers in mind the design style makes sense as most people use a keyboard for hotkeys or simply click their special move on the screen. So if you are in the market for a new mouse and you mostly play strategy or MMO games then this mouse is for you.
