The Nintendo Wii is the fifth generation of home video games consoles to have been released by Nintendo. A successor to the Nintendo Gamecube, the Wii competes with the current seventh generation gaming console systems currently available.

Unique Console Gaming

The Nintendo Wii has a very noticeably different features from a standard console, as it uses a wireless controller (using bluetooth) that detect motion and rotation in three dimensions that all impact on the game being played. The Nintendo Wii is Nintendo's smallest console manufactured to date and is the lightest of the 3 major seventh generation consoles currently on the market.
